Aaron Rizzer (a/k/a Professor Remember) is a principal character in the life and times of Jimmy Rogers. Aaron was a traveling band member before becoming an A & R Director for a major record label. Aaron opened his first Professor Remember’s Roadhouse & Bakery Cafe when he retired as a record label executive.
The “Can’t Stop It” movie is narrated by the Professor in present day as he reflects back to when he met Jimmy Rogers at the roadhouse where Jimmy first performed with his cousin David Perkins’ band, The Rhythm Kings.
In this first episode Jimmy is in a battle to break from his father Red Rogers’ long held belief, “life is a cruel joke, barely worth living”.
The death of David and his girlfriend Cathy, coupled with other painful reversals forces Jimmy to choose between his mother Esther’s hopeful view of life and his father Red’s bleak outlook.
If Jimmy makes the wrong choice he will take his own life and the mystery behind David’s and Cathy’s death will go unsolved.
